This is the coolest website I’ve been to in a long time. It is page after page of jello shots that look like everything from bacon and eggs to steamboats. I cannot wait to try a few of these! Now I just have to decide which one to try first, I just spent the last hour looking through some of them, maybe mini cosmos to start?!

I was playing around on Etsy today and came across this great little shop, TearfulTouch. She makes these incredible wristlets out of men’s neckties! They are super cute and only $20 each. I don’t know about you, but I go through spells of not wanting to carry a purse and I walk around with my card case, my phone, and my keys all in hand, and let’s just say I’ve had to search Target for my car keys before because I sat them down to look at something else, NOT fun! But this looks like a little answer for me. The perfect size for everything that I carry with me and so adorable, plus I could clip my keys to the wristlet ring. Hmmm…I think this may just have to be my next purchase!

Two words… Shiny fabulousness. How unbelievably gorgeous is this? It’s 100% glass beads constructed on wood pulp and recycled non-woven backing. This would be beautiful with one small wall (it’s $600 for 3 yards) in a powder room or in a baby girls nursery, or closet room!! It truly is beautiful and glamorous.
…I’m hunting down a cheaper DIY version. I’ll report back soon! Let me know if you have any ideas.

Rustic frames are kind of my thing, I have a house full of them and I’m obsessed. I love a good romantic frame and no frills is a must, pure and raw, just like love is! It’s from etsy, you can check it out here. There is a ton of other great finds in the shop as well with that great worn look and beautiful words incorporated within. Hmmm…$40 for a great frame, I think that’s a must!
Growing up in Kentucky we always went to the state fair, it was a big deal! Flea market, rides, animals, overpriced stuffed aliens and corn-dogs, uh yes please! But the best part was always the homemade fudge that made it’s way home with us. Chocolate-peanut butter was always my choice. It’s still one of my very favorite things on this planet and here is a lovely little recipe that is both easy to make and delicious! I’m excited to try the next batch with christmas cookie cutters, I’m thinking a gingerbread man with red and green m&m buttons! YES!

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Squares

1 pound white chocolate
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips or 12 ounces of chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream
*I happen to have a silicone “pan” with 24 squares in it – which I use when making this. In the past I have just used a 9×9 baking pan.
Line your pan with parchment or waxed paper, leaving an overhang. (you can also use foil however you will need to spray it with cooking spray).
Melt your white chocolate in your microwave for about a minute, stir until the chocolate is melted and creamy. Add in the peanut butter and stir until blended and smooth.
Spread mixture into your pan.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until a bit firm.
In a saucepan, combine your milk chocolate and your cream and heat over medium high heat until melted and smooth, stirring constantly. Pour/smooth over peanut butter mixture.
Chill for at least 3 hours or overnight. Later, lift out the candy and cut into small squares.
Feel free to “bedazzle” these for Valentines or any holiday. I made some with sprinkles, glitter gel, candies and silver dragees. Put some parchment paper in a pretty box, type up the recipe on a cute and there you have it…a gift better that the store to give.
You can also cut into shapes with a quality small cookie cutter
Heat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
In a large bowl, whisk the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
Coat the grids of the waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray. Use a tablespoon or small ice cream scoop to portion out a cookie onto each waffle square. Close the iron and cook until set and beginning to brown, 1-1/2 to 3 minutes, depending on the heat of your waffle iron. Use a thin metal spatula to transfer the cooked cookies to a wire rack and repeat with the remaining dough, coating the grids with spray as necessary.
Forget paper! This is my new favorite rubber stamping technique. I have a ton of cute stamps for all occasions that would make the cutest cookies. My thought… Initials for birthday cookies or a monogram for a wedding or baby shower! And I’m baking, I’m baking…
So Ladies…. I just found the most amazing website ever!! www.divine.ca is a canadian site that allows you to click on the part of your body that you want to work on and then gives you a list of exercises that you can do at home! LOVE! I mean I love my sculpt & zumba classes as much as the next girl but this is amazing for the days when you just can’t make it to the gym. Aha…No more excuses!! Get up and GO!

Such a SUPER cute idea!! I have a huge Christmas Party every year and I am always looking for a new and inventive way to do the treat bags! I found these bags at my local paper-source store or paper-source.com (they were only $4 for 25 of them!). And they are super easy to print on! They even had the little round labels to use for the top in a plethora of colors, I got a gorgeous teal color called pool. I am going to print a thank you on the outside and then hang these on the tree with fresh cookies inside for everyone to take as they leave! I can’t wait! I’ll post my step by step and finished product soon! But here are the supplies that I bought to change it up just a bit and make it more festive…
